The Exile Returns
God is always true to His promises. He keeps His covenant to His people. From Abrahams time until the Kingdom, they are a reflection of God's unfailing commitment to fulfilling His plan.

Finally, God's people's prayers are answered and the Jews experience a second chance as they return back to Jerusalem. What would be your first bidding if you were in their shoes? Unfortunately, it is easy to prioritize God and reciprocate. Let's examine three responses of God's people.

II. They restored their Worship in the Temple
It was King David who said, "I was glad when they said unto him, let us go into the house of the Lord." Ezra reminds them that there is a place prescribed to worship and in this case, it is the temple. Where is God's design of worship to His people nowadays?
III. They reinforced the Wall to protect their Worship
Nehemiah came back and his focus is on the rebuilding of the wall to protect God's people, to ensure their identity, and to continue to glorify God's name.
