Things to do in Oahu

Lodging:  If you have a military friend, ask if he can reserve a few beach cottages in Waimanalo or Waianae.    Waikiki, if you are unto the touristy day and night life.  Haleiwa have some nice beach houses you can rent.  Places to visit:  Honolulu: Pearl Harbor Memorial Punchbowl Memorial - for the history buff Pali lookout The Palace West Side Snorkel (Powerplant) Aulani Disney Hotel Luau: Paradise Cove (Shuttles from hotels available) East Side Hanauma Bay Hike Trail:  Choked North Shore Dole Pineapple / MAZE (morning trip) Giovanni Shrimp Truck, Kahuku (do this for lunch) Malaekahana Beach Park, cross the ocean to Bird Sanctuary Sharks Cove Laniakea Beach - Green Sea Turtles (almost guaranteed, park across the street) Snack:  Matsumoto Shave Ice Dinner:   Haleiwa Joes, Dinner On a separate time:   Polynesian Cultural Center (afternoon, evening trip)
