Ephesians 6:10-20 Winning the Spiritual Warfare - Armor of God

 God has called his children to salvation, growth, and victory over sin (Ephesians 2:8-10).  Sometimes, growth gets stunned because we lose the fight over temptation and the devil.    Ephesians 6:10-20 hods the key to your victory!   Rehearse the armor of God and read Ephesians 6:11-17.  These are your defensive armaments Two Offensive Armaments The Sword of the Spirit is the word of God (Eph. 6:17) Praying in the Spirit (Eph. 6:18-20) and that's all you need Conclusion:   The victory has been declared.  Jesus overcame death and sin on the cross.  He hands that victory to you by giving you salvation, giving you His Holy Spirit and providing you the whole armor of God.   Win the war!     God reminded us that He has a special plan for our lives even at work (Ephesians 6:5-9).   But these principles are transferable especially on relationships that focus on a task.  This is not just applicable to employer and employee but for any volunteer work.   Can you name other relationships you have that can help apply this passage?     In what way is God showing you to be faithful through these scripture verses: Genesis 39:20-23 Proverbs 6:6-8 Galatians 6:9 Observe God's "work" of creation.  In what way was His work similar to the work that you do today?  A wedding begins two people to walk together, marriage grows the two together Marriage is a picture of God’s relationship with His Children  He says verse 23 just as the husband is the head of the wife so is Christ the head of the church  Verse 25, husbands love your wives, just as Christ loved the church Verse 29, after saying that both husband and wife ought to love each other the way they love themselves, Paul writes, just as Christ does the church,… Finally, after Paul reminds the unity of the relationship between a husband and a wife, in verse 32, he writes, This is a profound mystery – but I am talking about Christ and the church.  .    Purposes For Life Purposes for Marriage Connect: You were formed for God’s family Submissive Connection             (Eph 5:22-24)     Grow:   You were Created to Become Like Christ Growing Love (Eph 5:25-27)
