Happy Thanksgiving!

Turkeys.  Food.  Fellowship.  Yum!   While these are some things that might preoccupy us this season, I just want to join you in giving thanks to our Almighty One!   By His grace, we are where we are and are able to rejoice and thank Him in all things that He had done.  Thank you Jesus for dying on the cross for our sins.

I want to thank God for wisdom.   I may not have a lot of them and in this day and age, who can afford not to have them.   These past few weeks, God has been teaching me about wisdom through the study of 1 Kings and the life of King Solomon.  In 1 Kings 3, I see that God wants us to learn, to long and to live wisdom in our lives.  In Proverbs 4, Solomon challenges us to love wisdom.   God delights to give wisdom and to give it liberally to those who ask  for (cf.  James 1:5).

Praise God for the churches and ministries we are currently working with.  BGEA allows me to encourage pastors and churches.  Look at this timely resource entitled "Flying Blind."   I am so amazed on what God is doing in the Youth ministries.  There's an explosion of attendance at the Volleyball that we host every Friday at Waipio Crestview Volleyball Park every Friday.  A lot of youth groups participated in the recent youth choir during the HPBC Annual Meeting.  Youth Project will be in full swing at the end of December.

I also want to praise God for allowing us to be involve in the recent 75th HPBC Annual Meeting last November 9-10, 2017.  Below are some of the people and churches that I worked with in the past 6 months in this endeavor.  Praise Team Vocals and Musicians, Singing Men (Quintet), Amazing Grace Singers (Women-Octet), Inter-Church Youth Choir, Production Crew and whole host of volunteers.   Thank you for volunteering your time, treasure and talent.  Scroll down for a few more clips from this event.

My family continue to rejoice in God for his rich love and mercy.  Micah will be coming home for winter vacation.  Miko is in full gear in his application for colleges and scholarships. Michak was signed in as JV soccer player for Mililani High School.   Tina and I are praying for the opportunity to visit her niece at her wedding on January, 2018.

Finally, much mahalo to Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, Shiraki Memorial Foundation, Mililani Fil-Am Baptist Church, Waipahu Community Christian Church, Village Park Baptist Church, Filipino Southern Baptist Fellowship of the Pacific and Youth Project for the constant opportunity to serve the Lord.

Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.

I want to introduce you and your church to "Flying Blind."  It's about four people who face the inevitable consequence of ignoring life's warning signs.   Watch what happens when God break through their blind spots and be challenged by a compelling message from Franklin Graham.

Masters Ministries.

So many congregations need help but can't afford to get the help.   This non-profit organization helps congregations without the hassle of full-time employment.   When you have a church need and you need help fast, think of Masters Ministries.

Youth Project.

Participants of the YP Summer Trip 2018 will do a catalytic event and preparation this December 26-30, 2017.   It will be followed by weekly discipleship and rehearsals preparing the youth for a way to enrich their walk and enlarge their reach to the students in the Philippines.
