Bible Verse Throughout The Day

If it is our desire to overcome sin anytime temptation knocks on the door, we need to learn from the example of Jesus.   The Bible said that Jesus was tempted at all points and yet was found without sin (Hebrews 4:15).  While tempted up in the wilderness, Satan comes and tempts Him to transform the stone into bread.

Jesus said, "Man shall not live by bread alone but by every words the comes from the  mouth of God"   (Matthew 4:4).

The Word of God is a powerful tool to ward of impending temptation that brings forth sin and that leads to death (James 1:15).   Use His Word and guard every moment of your life to be sin-free.

  • Wake Up - Psalm 118:24 - This is the day that Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it.
  • Travel - Psalm 121:1-2 - I left up my eyes to the mountains - where does my help come from?   My help comes form the Lord, and Maker of heaven and earth.
  • School - Galatians 6:9 - Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
  • Work - Proverbs 10:4 - Lazy hands make for poverty, but diligent hands bring wealth.
  • Travel Back home -  James 1:19-20 - My dear mothers and sisters, take note of this:  Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry,
  • Home - Exdo 20:12 - Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you; Eph. 5:21, 25 - Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord... Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.

These are the bible verses that help me through the day.   What is your appropriate bible verse for a certain situation?   When you are with your friends? Watching TV? Doing Errands?   Make comments below and share it with others.
