Five Layers of Conversation For Evangelism
Good conversations can lead to gospel sharing. Unless you have been invited in, it is difficult to introduce Jesus. Here are some ways on how to lead a conversation to the gospel. It is not necessary to follow this sequentially, but these layers may lead to deeper communication that eventually may open the opportunity for gospel sharing. Layer 1: Hello! This first layer is "breaking the ice." While not all conversations do not have to start here, most effective conversations appreciate a cordial introduction. A hello can be followed by any conversation starter like "what a good weather we have today" or "did you just see that crazy driver?" Layer 2: "How is everything?" or "How are you doing?"
