Shared Resource on Evangelism

On a meeting last March 25-27, 2013 with Western States Director of Evangelism, we were challenged to come up with a list of resources that we can share with each other.  I got so excited, not just on my end to share, but to be receiving some resources that can help our Hawaii Pacific Baptists in the area of evangelism.   I'll update this blog once I receive from others, but below is what I shared to them that I hope maybe of interest to you.

BTJ Homepage
Basic Training Journey:  This is one of the finest material one can learn through a church planting workshop.  It is not just good for those who are planting churches, but for groups who are thinking to start a fresh in their churches.  Basic training overview can be seen here http://www.churchplantingvillage.net/btjtrain/ .  You may contact Steven at steven@hpbaptist.net to learn the yearly workshops done in Oahu and other islands.

No Home Left Behind Maps:  The goal is to give each church a map poster size of their community where individuals and team members can chart their prayer walking and gospel sharing progress. Ask for a copy for your church and see how simple it is track down your prayer and evangelism movement in the community.  Click here to view mapping center.

Webinars:  Once a year evangelism conference is never sufficient.  We cheer our convention churches for evangelism literally every month through webinars mostly presented by our local pastors.  Here are some topics we have covered in the past:
·         Mandates & Models of follow-up, Gary Hamrick, Pastor of Missions Lahaina BC.
·         Prayer & Awakening, Bong Abagon, Director of Evangelism, Hawaii Pacific BC.
·         Will the Real Gospel Please Stand Up?, Jay Armstrong, Pastor of Kihei BC.
Upcoming:  April 25, 2013, 4pm (HST) – Radical Evangelism: Outreach ideas that might just work.  Led by Ray Bosi, Lighthouse Church Plant, Guam.

If  you are interested to help our churches by leading a webinar, or you have a topic in mind your church would like to learn about, email me at michael@hpbaptist.net  .

My Hope With Billy GrahamFinally, My Hope America with Billy Graham is in full swing and we are encouraging our Hawaii Pacific Baptist to be involve.  Here is a blog article about it:  http://michaelabagon.blogspot.com/2013/04/my-hope-america-with-billy-graham.html

What resource/s do you have in helping churches and individuals do good in evangelism?  Share with us.  I would like to hear from you.

Praying for a great revival,
Bong
