God Provides for our eternal need

He will never leave you nor forsake you.  Not only is he present, but he is also providing.  Let's start with this verse:

GOD IS A PROVIDER

God is a generous God.  He made the world at first perfect from which you and I can live in it.  The bible says that “He gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to Him.”  (James 1:5).  His hand is not closed, it is open and ready to provide.

Not only is he generous but he gives good gifts.
Matthew 7:11, “If you then being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him!”
James 1:17, “every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with who there is no variation of shifting shadows.”

He gives unconditionally

Acts 17:25 says, He himself gives to all people life and breathe and all things.”
But He wants us to ask
James 4:3, “You do not have because you do not ask.”
In Matt. 7:7 he states us God’s principle of receiving – “Ask and it will be give to you, seek, and you will find, knock and it will be opened to you.”

God is capable of meeting all of our needs.  He is the creator who made all things, He is the sustainer that can sustain all things.   Anything that is missing, he will fill and anything that is broken He can fix.  There is no limit to God’s creative power, there is no limit to God’s providing power.  He provides:
·         Mentally – James 1:5, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
·         Materially – 2 Corinthians 9:9 – “He scattered abroad, he gave to the poor, His righteousness endures forever.”
·          Emotionally – Job 33:4, The spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.
·          physically, practically, spiritually, temporally and eternally.

YOUR ETERNAL NEED
Just as you have physical needs, the here and now, the temporal  you have a spiritual need, the then and after, the eternal.

You need a final purpose for your existence.

You will always be restless until you find the purpose of  your life

You need a final peace for your physical end.

·         John 14:27 – Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful.

You need a final place for your eternal soul.

GOD PROVIDES FOR YOUR ETERNAL NEED

There are two places for the eternal soul.  The Bible calls a literal place of suffering and death called Hell.
The other final place is heaven.  It is a real place.  It is a literal place.  It is a place where God lives.  It is a place where He wants to bring you so you can be with Him eternally.

God provides for our eternal needs by providing Heaven for us.

Heaven is a real place.  John 14:1-3, Jesus calls it “in my Father’s house.”  It is as real as Oahu, Maui or Los Angeles.  The place called heaven is just as real as the place you call home.  In the future, God will lay down Heaven here on earth and it says this in Revelations 21: 11…
11 It shone with the glory of God, and its brilliance was like that of a very precious jewel, like a jasper, clear as crystal. 12 It had a great, high wall with twelve gates, and with twelve angels at the gates. On the gates were written the names of the twelve tribes of Israel. 13 There were three gates on the east, three on the north, three on the south and three on the west.14 The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
15 The angel who talked with me had a measuring rod of gold to measure the city, its gates and its walls. 16 The city was laid out like a square, as long as it was wide. He measured the city with the rod and found it to be 12,000 stadia[c] in length, and as wide and high as it is long. 17 The angel measured the wall using human measurement, and it was 144 cubits[d] thick.[e] 18 The wall was made of jasper, and the city of pure gold, as pure as glass. 19 The foundations of the city walls were decorated with every kind of precious stone. The first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third agate, the fourth emerald, 20 the fifth onyx, the sixth ruby, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth turquoise, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst.[f] 21 The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each gate made of a single pearl. The great street of the city was of gold, as pure as transparent glass.22 I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almightyand the Lamb are its temple. 23 The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp. 24 The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their splendor into it. 25 On no day will its gates ever be shut, for there will be no night there. 26 The glory and honor of the nations will be brought into it. 27 Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

God provides for our eternal needs by providing the people around us.

The question you have to ask yourself is do I want to have eternal life in Jesus.
